Say hello to Scully, our class skeleton!
Students have been using Scully to label the human skeletal system while learning about ossification — the fascinating biological process where new bone tissue forms from embryo stage right through to early adulthood. A great practical way to understand how the body grows and strengthens over time!
Child Development:
Our young people have also been exploring different types of developmental play:
Sensory play — getting wonderfully messy making slime
Bilateral coordination — decorating mini pumpkins
Learning through creativity, curiosity, and hands-on experience is what we do best at Physis Academy!
