Our Governance Responsibilities
Our governors are knowledgeable about their statutory duties and carry them out effectively. They support and challenge the school's leaders effectively, using the best methods to assure themselves of the quality and impact of different aspects of the school's work.
Our governing body works to establish and sustain the school's ethos and strategic direction, in partnership with school leadership and through consultation with the school community. We have a clear and ambitious vision for providing high-quality education to all pupils.
Safeguarding
The governing body ensures an appropriate senior member of staff is appointed to the role of designated safeguarding lead, with the appropriate status and authority to carry out the duties of the post. We contribute to multi-agency working in line with statutory guidance and understand our role within local safeguarding arrangements.
