  • Salary: Up to £24,200 FTE - Pro Rata Basis

  • Hours: Mon - Fri (09:30 - 15:00)

  • Contract: Permanent; Term Time (39 weeks)

We are looking to appoint a highly skilled, organised & competent, School Business Administrator to join our hardworking team.

You will provide a professional, diligent, and comprehensive administration service supporting the work of the Head Teacher and Governing Body. You will have proven experience of the development, management and operation of administrative systems, excellent organisational skills along with the ability to relate to adults and children and promote the school in the wider community.

Key responsibilities

  • To be the receptionist for the school ensuring ID checks are performed for visitors and assistance provided.

  • To ensure the efficient operation of school systems, including maintenance of pupil files.

  • Additional duties and requirements associated with the post undertaken as and when they arise.

  • To maintain various databases.

  • To assist in the timely preparation of various education reports.

  • To support site and facilities maintenance.

  • Maintain and co-ordinate school examination paperwork, maintain exams cupboard and facilitate awarding body visits.

  • To contribute to a therapeutic, nurturing and caring environment

The Requirements

  • GCSE (A* - C) or equivalent in English & Maths

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Software & Databases

  • Enhanced DBS

  • Two professional references

  • eligible to work in the UK
